It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of Sensei Goro Oki. On Wednesday, 10/18/17 at 4:40pm, Sensei Oki peacefully passed away at his home with his family nearby. Sensei Oki was 96 years old and lived a long full life. Sensei Oki dedicated his life to judo and we are very fortunate that he made Tohkon Judo Academy his dojo. He was our dojo’s Senior Advisor, Spiritual Leader and a member of the Tohkon Family since it’s beginning. Please keep Sensei Oki and his family in your thoughts and hearts.
Funeral arrangements will be made public as soon as they are available.
