USJF President's Life Membership Club
Three days a week, or maybe its four or five, we step through the doorway of the dojo. We bow, we sit, we listen, we sweat. Right when we think we've given all we can, we're called upon to give a little more. And we do. Then we bow again, and if still able to walk, we slowly rise off the tatami. By our Sensei's guidance and our own will to succeed we have handed over our minds and bodies to Judo. In return Judo gives strength to our spirits, muscles and morality.
Now, Judo and the United States Judo Federation are asking you to give more, by contributing to the newly developed U.S.J.F. President's Life Membership Club. The President's Club has been established to receive and manage charitable donations made to the U.S.J.F.. All donations, which are tax deductible, are to be deposited into a special Endowment Fund whose principal will be maintained, conserved, and invested so as to generate interest. Monies accumulated from the Endowment Fund will be used to support the development of Judo both local and nationally.
The President's Club is a Life Membership Program designed to recognize individuals and corporations that believe in the mission of the U.S.J.F.. The U.S.J.F. mission is to affect positively the character of everyone associated with Judo through the principle of mutual benefit and welfare.
There are five levels of individual contribution and three levels of corporate sponsorship. Individuals are deemed Charter Members for a donation of $500, Executive Members for $1000, Presidential Members for $3000, Executive V.I.P. Members for $5000, or Presidential V.I.P. Members for $10,000. A corporation can become a Charter Sponsor for $5000, and Executive Sponsor for $10,000, or a Presidential Sponsor for $20,000.
Each level of contribution comes with exclusive benefits for its sponsors including special recognition in the U.S.J.F. official publication, U.S.J.F. News, Presidents Life Membership Club Web page, and at the annual U.S.J.F. sponsored Junior National Tournament. By donating to the President's Life Membership Club you and your Dojo will be nationally recognized for its continued commitment to Judo.

How can you or your club join this elite group?
It is easy. Just complete the Presidents Life Membership Club application form (Acrobat File - 465.84KB) and remit your payment. You can chose the Charter Members for a donation of $500, Executive Members for $1000, Presidential Members for $3000, Executive V.I.P. Members for $5000, or Presidential V.I.P. Members for $10,000. A corporation can become a Charter Sponsor for $5000, and Executive Sponsor for $10,000, or a Presidential Sponsor for $20,000.
Your tax-deductible payment can be in full or in four easy installments. You can even put the payments on your Visa or MasterCard.
As a President's Club Life Member, you will receive recognition and appreciation for your support in the following:
- An individually inscribed annual membership card, permitting free admission to all U.S.J.F. National Championships. Two pins, one Presidents Club Life Membership pin and one gold and ruby, U.S.J.F. life membership pin.
- The U.S.J.F. official publication, U.S.J.F. News.
- Free entry to the annual U.S.J.F. sponsored Junior National Tournament.
- A List of all members of "President Life Membership Cub" is on the USJF website.
- A beautiful plaque commemorating your contribution and commitment to the U.S.J.F..
- Abatement of U.S.J.F. national dues (except for annual insurance assessment), promotional fees and the reduction in time and grade requirements for promotion
But, of course, far more important to you than any of these tokens of appreciation will be simply the inner satisfaction you will have in keeping the spirit and the mission of the U.S.J.F..
