The 2007 World Judo Research Symposium will be held separately from the IJF World Judo Conference, and will occur on Wednesday, 12 September 2007, in Rio de Janeiro. As such, the Symposium will focus only on judo researchers, and allow for much more discussion and interaction among the researchers. In addition, we will be hoping formalize the organization of the International Association of Judo Researchers (IAJR), an international society of judo researchers.
Please be advised that, as in the past, the 2007 World Judo Research Symposium will be held in English, commensurate with other international academic symposia. Because the Symposium will be held separately from the conference, there will NOT be simultaneous interpretation into multiple languages, in order to keep costs down.
