Arguably the first and best-known American judo icon, Jim Bregman has devoted his life to the sport as a competitor, teacher, and administrator.  A member of the USA’s first Olympic judo team and Bronze medal winner, World Championship medalist, Pan American and Maccabiah champion, few American judoka have ever matched his success in international competition and organizational innovation and leadership.
