On Saturday, December 9, 2006, in Dallas, Texas, a meeting was conducted involving representatives from USA Judo, United States Judo Association, and United States Judo Federation.
The meeting was initiated by the three organizations to discuss the future strategic directions of the three organizations and identify those areas in which the three organizations may work with each other for the betterment of judo in America.
Participants included:
Dr. Ron Tripp, President of USA Judo
Jose Rodriguez, CEO of USA Judo
Jim Webb, President of the United States Judo Association
Neil Simon, President of the United States Judo Federation
Robert Fukuda, Executive Director of the United States Judo Federation
This was the 2nd meeting of the Presidents of all 3 organizations. The first informal meeting was held in Miami, Florida in October.
